Give Love & Hope

“Even youths will become weak and tired, young men will fall in exhaustion” -Isaiah 40:30
Today’s Encouragement: It’s time to empathize. Do you have a friend whose hope is disappearing? Subtle signs may include change in appetite, social activity or just subdued behavior. Sometimes life seems so difficult for us as God’s people, that we are tempted to think that God is not with us. That’s a real temptation for God’s people at various times in our lives.
Remember when your hopes and dreams came crumbling down? Think about how you felt and what has helped you. God has placed you perfectly in your friend’s life to give them the encouragement they need.
Let’s admit that everyone needs a little help sometimes. After all, no one is meant to go through life alone. This bible verse about helping others remind us that one crucial way to demonstrate your love for God is to take action here on Earth and help others. Giving the Lord's love, hope, and support to your friend is a powerful act. It may not always be easy, but as a person of faith, God calls upon you to serve others and bring his light to them.
Prayer: Father, thank You for deciding long ago to choose me for life with You. Please direct me step-by-step as I help others to find hope in their lives. Please help me to remind them that they are hand-picked and dearly loved by You. I ask that You show me how to be a conduit of Your love and grace to others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Reflection: How do you give hope to others?
